Mount a device as non root User

Use blkid to find out the UUID of the device:

# blkid
....
....
/dev/sdh1: UUID="172B-586F" TYPE="vfat" PARTUUID="581c358f-01"

Make an entry in your /etc/fstab:

....
....
UUID=172B-586F /path/to/mountpoint/toshiba_8gb   auto rw,user,sync,noauto 0 0
....

In this case a non root User can mount the usb stick like this:

$ lsblk
....
....
sdh                   8:112  1   7,2G  0 disk
└─sdh1                8:113  1   7,2G  0 part

$ mount /dev/sdh1
$ umount /dev/sdh1
